Software Development

Give your team a tool that fits the job.

The same order gets typed twice. A report takes half a day to assemble. The software almost fits, except for the part your team does every day. We build the missing piece, connect the systems, and make the handoffs easier to follow.

Custom applications, ERP and API integrations, reporting, and automation. Inventory-related or not.

Does this sound like your week?

The work shouldn’t depend on another workaround.

The same information gets carried between systems by hand.

We connect the systems and build checks around duplicates, missing information, and updates that need another attempt.

Your team has a process the standard software cannot handle.

A scanning screen, an internal portal, a retail workflow, or a custom business application can fill the gap without pretending every project needs a new ERP.

The data exists, but the answer is still hard to get.

We bring sources into reporting models and data platforms with consistent definitions, reviewable transformations, and a clear path back to the records.

What we help with

Start with the job. Choose the right tools.

With over 20 years of experience, our team of inventory consultants and software developers brings domain knowledge and hands-on implementation to the same conversation.

Connections that account for the next attempt

Order, product, stock, and shipment integrations across APIs, supplier protocols, and controlled file imports. We make exceptions and retry boundaries part of the work.

Applications around the real workflow

Warehouse and retail tools, customer and membership portals, catalog systems, and custom business applications. We start with the people doing the job and the decisions the screen needs to support.

Reporting with a dependable foundation

Operational data pipelines, dashboards, and governed analytics. A useful report needs consistent records and definitions as much as it needs a clear presentation.

Automation and AI with review points

Catalog enrichment, document workflows, creative production, and research pipelines. Where AI is used, the project context and human review boundaries stay visible.

How we work

From “this isn’t working” to something your team can use.

We bring inventory knowledge and hands-on development to the same conversation. You can work with us on either one, or both.

  1. Look at the real work.

Walk through the decision or task with the people doing it. Review the data, the current tools, and the exceptions they deal with.

  2. Agree on a useful first change.

Define what needs to improve and how we’ll check it. The answer might be a spreadsheet model, an integration, or a focused application.

  3. Build it and work through the details.

Test realistic scenarios, make the assumptions visible, and show the team how to use what’s been built. Agree on any ongoing support as part of the scope.

Success stories

Here’s what that looks like in practice.

The problem, the work, and the technologies behind it. Client identities are omitted. Client projects, own products, internal tools, historical implementations, and development work are identified in each story.

A few practical questions

You don’t need a finished brief to talk to us.

Do we have to replace our current software?

Not necessarily. We first look at what your current systems already do and where the gaps are. A connection, a better report, or a focused tool may be enough. If a larger change is needed, we’ll work through that with you before building it.

Can the answer still be an Excel or Google Sheets model?

Yes. We build and improve spreadsheet-based planning tools as well as custom applications. The choice depends on who uses the model, how often the data changes, and how much control the process needs, not on replacing spreadsheets for their own sake.

Can you help with one problem, or software outside inventory?

Yes. A single forecast, supplier integration, reporting problem, or internal workflow can be a project. Our software work also includes retail tools, web applications, and other business systems. We’ll define the scope around the job you need done.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

A description of what keeps going wrong, which systems are involved, and what you want the team to do differently. You don’t need to send customer records, credentials, or confidential files through this form.
