The operating problem
A system can be reachable while its data is stale or its background queue has stopped moving. A simple uptime check does not establish that the business process is healthy.
What we built
We built monitoring for recurring data and integration workflows. Checks cover freshness, failed runs, pending work that has stopped progressing, and the presence of expected scheduled activity.
The monitoring process also reports its own heartbeat. This separates a genuinely quiet environment from a monitoring job that has itself stopped running, without exposing private infrastructure details in the public case.
What the work enables
The tooling makes several common silent-failure conditions visible to operations. It supports investigation and follow-up; it is not a guarantee of uninterrupted service or automatic recovery from every failure.
Monitor the business process and the monitor itself, not just the web server.
