Who is responsible

Stearns Digital Consulting LLC is a Florida, United States limited liability company and is responsible for the information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email info@stearns.digital with the subject “Privacy request.”

Information you provide

Our inquiry form asks for your name, work email, topic, and message. Company name is optional. It also includes a page-source label so we can identify which form you used and a hidden anti-spam field. The form sends your inquiry to our business inbox. Providing information is voluntary, but we need the required fields to send and respond to a form inquiry.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification, health information, or confidential client datasets through this public form. If a project needs sensitive information, contact us first to agree on an appropriate exchange method.

Technical information

Requests to a website necessarily transmit technical information such as an IP address and browser request details. Hosting and email systems may retain operational logs, including request times, requested pages, delivery information, and error or security events. These records are separate from the inquiry fields.

The corporate website currently has no configured visitor-analytics, advertising-pixel, or session-replay tool. Its search operates within the page. See the Cookie Notice for browser storage and tracking details.

How information is used

Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a mailing list or give consent to unrelated marketing. The website does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about visitors.

Legal bases where UK or European law applies

For business inquiries and ordinary website security, the relevant basis is our legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients and operating a reliable business website. Where you personally request steps toward a contract, those steps may instead be necessary before entering that contract. Processing required by law relies on the applicable legal obligation. We do not treat merely visiting the site or submitting an inquiry as blanket consent to other processing.

Who receives information

People handling the inquiry and providers delivering hosting and email may process the information for those tasks. Disclosure may also be necessary to comply with a legal requirement or address a dispute. The website has no mechanism that sends form submissions to advertising networks or data brokers, and no cross-site advertising integration.

International inquiries

We are a US business serving clients remotely. Inquiries may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our team or hosting and email providers operate. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Contact us before sending restricted or sensitive information if you need details about processing locations or an international data-transfer arrangement. Client data-processing and transfer requirements must be addressed for the particular engagement; this notice is not a substitute for those arrangements.

Retention and security

Inquiries become business correspondence, rather than a website account. Retention depends on whether a conversation is still active, whether it leads to an engagement, and relevant recordkeeping or dispute needs. Hosting and email providers may have separate log and backup schedules. This form does not have an automatic deletion timer. You can ask about retention of your inquiry or request deletion using the address above.

The public site uses HTTPS. No website or email system can promise absolute security; avoid including sensitive information in an initial message.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, or ask us to stop following up. Depending on the law applicable to you, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or appeal a decision on a request. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.

Email info@stearns.digital, preferably from the address used for your inquiry. Describe the request without sending an identity document initially. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. Applicable exceptions and response deadlines depend on the law governing it. If you disagree with our response, reply asking for a review and explain why.

Where applicable, you can also complain to a data-protection regulator. UK visitors can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. EEA visitors can contact the authority in their country through the European Data Protection Board’s authority directory.

Children

This is a business-services website, not a service directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed as appropriate.

Changes to this notice

Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes to how inquiry information is used will be explained before that new use, with any additional notice or permission required by applicable law.
