The operating problem
A suggested purchase quantity is not useful if it ignores stock held at another warehouse or cannot be ordered in the required selling and packaging units. Spreadsheet-style outputs also become hard to review when planning periods, stock measures, and recommended quantities are presented inconsistently.
What we built
We developed operational stock-prediction and replenishment screens around the distributor’s inventory and sales data. The interface brings together warehouse stock, planning periods, expected consumption, and suggested replenishment in a form that purchasing staff can review.
The work included consolidating warehouse availability, correcting suggestions to respect packaging increments, and making the selected planning period visible in the output. The existing Zoho Inventory integration supplies business records, while the custom interface handles the decisions and explanations that sit between an inventory balance and a supplier order.
What the work enables
The delivered tools make a recommendation easier to interpret and convert into an actionable quantity. They expose the stock position and review context behind the suggestion, rather than leaving operators to reconcile incompatible units by hand. Final purchasing decisions remain with the business.
A useful replenishment result connects demand and supply to the units in which the business actually buys and handles products.
